DMCA Copyright Policy

Overview

QR Code Builder respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content accessible through QR codes generated or hosted on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on our service where the material can be found.
  4. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was incorrectly removed due to a DMCA takedown notice, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where the material appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

Repeat Infringers

QR Code Builder reserves the right to terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also remove or disable access to material that is found to be infringing.

Good Faith

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability. Please ensure that your claim is legitimate before submitting a notice.
